Just wondering if anyone knows the condition of the road up Mt. Cheam and if anyone has been up there yet this summer? It's getting close to the time to start thinking about the ptarmigan that live up there. Thanks, Murray

Murray, I haven't been up there but I would assume the road is fine.
One of the guys I know from the gym is going up there this weekend. Next time I see him I will ask about the conditions.

Murray, a friend of mine is also going up tomorrow. Ill ask her how it went road-wise and well as ptarmigan-wise as she watches out for me. She got a hen and two chicks recently up Needle Peak.

Murray, the report was that the road was navigable but that a shorter vehicle would have made it a bit better. A SUV should be ok if one takes their time. No ptarmigan were reported.

Good, timely, information Gord. I will pass it on to my ptarmigan-minded friends.
