Finally....some bird life along the trail at Eagle Point Park. Just went for a walk in the rain and saw:
1 Song Sparrow 1 Winter Wren 7 Dark eyed Junco 1 Towhee 1 Black Cap Chickadee 5 Ruby Crowned Kinglets
not terribly exciting but way better than has been all winter when there has been nothing.
On the other hand, since about the middle of last week there has been virtually nothing on the water. Total today was 13 Mallards, 4 Green Wing Teal and 2 Buffleheads.
Also saw 2 Bald Eagle (1 adult & 1 juv) and a Northern Harrier - the first of those in probably a couple of months.
I'm hoping the Ruby Crowned Kinglets are a sign that things are on the move. We've had Golden Crowned Kinglets all winter.....

Nice to hear things are picking up out there! When I was there last week it was very quiet!!!
