I think a couple members mentioned they were thinking about going out to look for the prairie falcon.
I checked a little bit on Monday and then again today. I didnt have time for an indepth look, so this report/update that I didnt see it doesnt mean much of anything.
I did spot a sharp-shinned in the big 'raptor tree' (a good tree to check on throughout the day, it's on the corner of Banford and McGuire and Ive seen every B.C. raptor but prairie falcon, goshawk and golden eagle in it over the years. Also near by was a kestrel whom I saw on Monday as well which caused a mini-tantrum as I would have liked to have seen her on the count day!!
