Hi Fellow Fraser Valley Birders: Today, walking up the Sucker's Creek Trail, in Hope, the Steller's Jays were making a heck of a racket. Sure enough, they were harassing an owl, this time a Long eared. Got good views before it flew, but, unfortunately, no camera with me this time. Also, along this trail, was a very late American Goldfinch. There is a trailer park that borders the trail, and I have noticed a number of feeders in there. Maybe, that 's why this guy was hanging around. Later at Hope airport, had a nice look at a Cooper's Hawk, making a low pass over the strip. Nice to be able to get outside without getting soaked!! Cheers, Thor
