Hi fellow Fraser Valley birders: Some incidental birding done today while getting car serviced, and doing other chores in Hope and Chilliwack. There were 34 TRUMPETER SWANS in the field east of Banford between Prairie Central and McGuire. Also in this field was a NORTHERN HARRIER, and two BALD EAGLES sitting on the ground. The only gull flock I coud find was also on Banford; ( is this the right name for this road? ), south of McGuire, and they were all GLACUOUS WINGED. In Hope there were three AMERICAN DIPPERS, along Sucker's creek, and VARIED THRUSH were numerous. Hopefully, this is not a sign of an early winter!! At least in Hope, there was no wind, as compared to the gale blowing across the Chilliwack Prairie; ( I am trying to hold onto the few remaining hairs on top of my head!!). Cheers, Thor

That's Banford Road, you're correct!
I was finding that wind tiresome as well. Glad it's done!
