Yesterday at the Heron Reserve the birds were quiet but I did notice lots of flowers and bugs about. Having my 100mm macro 2.8 with me I decided to try some flower shots. I was inspired by a TV show I had watched on PBS called "Wild Photo Adventures" (on Thursdays at 1pm). This weeks show is on Atlantic Puffins. Here are a few from yesterday. DaveP

Thanks, I think the owl found me. He must have been on the gound near the trail and flushed as I walked by. I was lucky he stopped very close to me.

Awesome shots Dave, that first one is my favourite, great colors. You can sure see in your shots how narrow the depth of field is on those macro lens.
