Saw a Greater Yellowlegs wading around in the shallows just off of Eagle Point Park this afternoon. :)Appeared to be the only one. There have been Killdeer in the area regularly for the past couple of weeks but this is the first sandpiper I've seen. All in all it is pretty quiet over here right now. Ducks are down to a few Mallards, Bufflehead, Green Wing Teal and occasional Common Merganser. Monday I saw 3 Heron all together but most of the time I don't see any. A flock of Brown Creeper were in the evergreens yesterday and there have been lots of Gold Crown Kinglets. We are seeing more and more robins. Now it is March I'm expecting things to get more interesting.
