While we're a little behind on the 'official welcome' of new members, Id would like to welcome my second little guy to the forum. ;D The excitement of the Anna's Hummingbird has prompted a desire to share what they're seeing. The words and how they're written are their own, which is pretty good for a 7 and 8 year old. We're going to have to organize a young birders group with my boys and Issac leading one day! And an official welcome to all new members. I think you're all acknowledged upon your first post, but just in case, Welcome!

From ml: "I ran into Deb and Tony at the airport and learned that the Bird had moved on April 6 (Monday). Thanks to them, I started my membership with Fraser Valley Birding. It was a real pleasure to meet wonderful people and good birders like Deb and Tony! Thank you so much for introducing us the Cheam wetland which should not be a stop, but a destination for the next time. There was an Osprey chasing a Bald Eagle over the Lake that evening. Look forward to seeing you again!"
Welcome to the forum Mandy! It was really nice to have met you at the airport too. Glad my directions to Cheam wetlands worked out for you, and that you'll be planning a return trip up this way someday. Hopefully we'll bump into you in the field again.
Deb and Tony
