Hello all. I am new to this group as well as new to all groups and postings so please accept this as an apology for an mistakes I make while learning. I was out at my usual area near Annis Rd and Chilliwack Central and counted around 30 meadow larks as the moved around the field. I have seen smaller groups there but this is the largest so far.

Hello and welcome Jimw!! No worries in the least about any mistakes as no one here will care. This board is helpful though with 'modify' and 'delete' option on every post you make so you can get as many chances to fix anything you see after sending the message. (you can see these options on the upper right corner of every message you write. Awesome report on the meadowlarks! I counted that area for the Christmas Bird Count yesterday and didnt find a one!! 30 is an excellent and encouraging number and Ill make sure it makes it into the records for a 'Christmas Bird Count Week'. Warm welcome again Jim, and hope to hear more from you in the future.
