hello birders left work a little early yesterday and birded banford rd in chilliwack. not much here but did manage to scare up 3 wilson's snipe from a ditch just south of maguire rd. also, had two interesting birds reported yesterday at the store. a grey catbird was seen two days in a row up chilliwack mountain on the weekend and on fairfield island there was a black-billed magpie seen 2 weeks ago. so keep your eyes and ears open. also, i seem to have an over wintering white-throated sparrow at my feeders, it has been there for at least 3 weeks. cheers, jason chilliwack,bc

Woah!! Those are good birds!
That catbird is especially good. Details on that one would be awesome if it doesnt compromise someone's privacy. I have a feeling winter records of grey catbirds are far and few between.
