On the way for an appointment in Abbotsford I detoured through Sumas Prairie. On No. 2 Rd just east of Interprovincial Highway Rd there were two western meadowlarks in flight. On South Parallel Rd not far from the rest stop a dark-morph rough-legged hawk flew in and landed in a tree. As I had to be on time, I couldnt really stop and had to miss a good sized flock of blackbirds (didnt seem to be many starlings or red-wings in it) on Interprovincial Highway Rd. Would have been worth looking over.
