Well it took me longer than a month but I finally saw the Bobcat. I was coming back from the loop trail and I heard an awful racket of birds calling, mostly Robins, and I was thinking it might be an owl or another bird of prey. However, as I turned the corner where the loop ends, I saw a Bobcat on the trail. He saw me and went right into the bush.
P.S. Dave it was nice to meet you.

Great sighting. Interesting to know it is still around.

Good work Bundy. Persistence usually pays off. I guess this cat knows it has stumbled onto some easy pickings in a wildlife sanctuary. Almost no threat from humans and lots of rabbits and other abundant prey items. I'm glad he's still around.

Sorry I missed that. Nice meeting you also.
We see bobcats on Chilliwack Mountain fairly regularly.
