Hi Dian and I will have to cancel for Cheam. Our company has decided to arrive next weekend. Hope you find the Rock Ptarmigan.

Ziff, you are most welcome if the other plans fall though. Ive added you as a possible attendant.

Im still on for the 16th. Sounds like a very hot day coming up! All the more good reason for an early start. It will be crowded up there without doubt.
Still lots of room if others are still considering coming along.

Sure, there's room!
Keep an eye on here for where we meet and at what time. We'll have to figure it out pretty quick as it's Friday tomorrow already! I will try to get Dave on the phone to see if he still can come prior to his big move. Regardless, there's room for the three of us (Im including Thor) as of now.

I talked with Dave this morning. He has been off-line for the last week. He is still coming and will have lots of room in his truck. We are going to meet at 6am. I know this is fairly early and I hope it's ok with you Ryjay and anyone else considering coming. The hot weather and promise of a busy mountain AND that birding is good in the morning was the basis for our decision. We will be meeting at Thompson Park, which is about a 45 minute drive from the parking lot at Cheam Ridge. www.mapquest.com/mq/2-jW7PR*6TRSzhwww.fvrd.ca/Services/parks_home/exploreourparks/Pages/Thompson.aspxThe gate will be open! Bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat. We should be back to the vehicles by about 3 and then to Thompson Park by about 4 but we can be flexible especially with the heat. Still lots of room for anyone thinking about coming!

Hey Gord, I think I should be fine to go tomorrow, I live in Surrey so I'll have to leave really early, shouldnt be a problem, Worth the chance of getting my first White-tailed Ptarmigan. Thanks so much for letting me tag along.
