Bentley nice find on the grouse! Not easy to find in the winter at all. Thanks all for the additions. I also added Killdeer from our CBC and a Peregrine Falcon we saw yesterday in our count area which we missed on the count day!

A Cooper's Hawk found during Area A1 CBC and a Sharp-shinned Hawk at the site where the White-breasted Nuthatch has been seen.

I noticed we don't have Rough-legged Hawk on our list yet?? One was seen on Gord and company's CBC, correct?

Can we please try to use the common names when we mention various species? It makes the forum a lot more clear and accessible for those who don’t know the ABA codes.

Sorry I was late getting the final ones up. Thanks to all who participated. Ken, glad we got the Swamp Sparrow added. Even with the mild winter so far, Marsh Wren tough to come by. Sure hope their numbers rebound again.
