We had a Bittern at Wilband yesterday. Seen in flight.

Some good birds from Harrison on Saturday; Northern Shrike, Horned Grebe, Common Goldeneye, Barrow's Goldeneye, Greater Scaup, Eurasian Wigeon, and Northern Shoveler. Also had a lucky Merlin hunting some robins today

Pine Siskin and Hairy Woodpecker at Hope River Rotary Trail, underrated spot to bird. American Kestrel on Banford. Orange-crowned Warbler and Red Crossbill from Ryder Lake. Marsh Wren and Purple Finch and Willband. And Evening Grosbeak at Great Blue Heron

Scrub Jay from the yard this afternoon. Heard one calling and I played their call to confirm and two came out of a bush.

Can add Northern Pygmy Owl. One was being mobbed by 4 Townsend’s Warblers, approx. 15 Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Golden-crowned Kinglets, Black-Capped and Chestnut-backed Chickadees, several Red-breasted Nuthatches, and many juncos, towhees.
