Hi All, I had computer trouble last night but the problem is fixed so I can pass along a couple of fun birds from Sunday. Yesterday my wife and I drove up to Port Renfrew as it was a beautiful day. In town we found a killer bird feeder area which had a large flock of over 20 Steller's Jays and a Blue Jay! Nice bird and it was a little bit shy. On the way home near Muir Creek we stopped and looked at Bonaparte's Gulls, California and Mew Gulls only to find an immature Little Gull!!!! on the drive home there was a lovely point blank Yellow-billed Loon near Sooke on West Coast Road at Welding 1001. Great day to be out and about. Of note it seems to be very warm right now over here with many insects still around. I wonder what else will appear with the weather being somewhat unseasonal. Cheers!
