Dave and I went out to Boundary Bay for a part of the day. We started our day at 112th St and worked our way west. The tide was not ideal but we got some good looks at the shorebirds all the same. We then went to Tswasswan. We saw a couple good birds here including some brant (good summer species!) 3 whimbrel (I have not seen this species for several years) and the/a willet is at the base of the jetty.
We finished the day at Reifel. It was not very busy as the tide was poor and it was during the hotest part of the day. We did enjoy a good view of Wilson's phalarope however.
We started back for home at 2. Thanks for driving, Dave!
Here's our list. We missed a lot of species! Pictures to follow.
