Spent the long weekend in Osoyoos. Left Thursday after work and came back today. Was hoping for Black-chinned Hummingbird and Grasshopper Sparrow but missed both. However, I saw a number of species that I’ve only seen a handful of times.
White Lake was the first stop Friday morning
I always enjoy seeing the Western Bluebirds here.

A Gray Partridge was a nice surprise just north of the lake. The walk from the parking area up towards the cliff is really nice. Great views of the valley.
Road 22 was a productive stop.
Managed a Gray Flycatcher. Only third time seeing one.

Western Tanagers were numerous at many locations

Heard a couple of Yellow-breasted Chats and RIng-necked Pheasants. I was surprised by how vocal the pheasants were. Every visit to Road 22 they were vocal.
Next morning it was raining but cleared fairly quickly.

A trip to Old Richter Pass was productive. Walked the road and got a number of species.

A second trip to Vaseux cliff produced this Bighorn. Does anyone know where/if I can look up any information about this tagged Bighorn?
