Hi This year we have our usual birds returning to our back woods. The Blackheaded Grosbeaks and the Evening Grosbeaks are back but in larger numbers than years past. The Townsend's Solitaire, which usually stays for a day or two has been hunting around our neighbourhood for three weeks. The Yellow Rumped Warblers and the Western Tanagers would pass through in years past, but this year they are regular visitors. They have been around for about two weeks. Perhaps the colder wetter Spring has kept them from heading to the mountains.
