On April 21 I observed a number of Yellow-rumped warblers in a tree in my backyard. They were coming and going and also visiting my water feature. I managed a few photos: At one point there were three together in the water feature: There was also a Myrtle: I'm curious about this one, is this an intergrade Audubon's x Myrtle? A couple weeks ago I had a large flock of VG swallows with some Vaux's Swifts. They are terribly difficult to photograph for a number of reasons. They are usually high, backlit, and move really quick. Accordingly my photos were terrible. Here's a highly cropped, very backlit one Finally, last week there was a chickadee in my blooming crab-apple tree. I'm not crazy about the chickadee's pose but it was the best I got and I like the backdrop: I'm not looking forward to migration ending!

Looks like a nice water feature, I need to add some moving water. Hi Ken, yes moving water seems to make a big difference. I had a landscaping water feature company (Fontana) do mine. It cost a fair amount but I have no regrets. I gave Gord a pump that I had from my previous water feature and he made one himself. He probably could give some good advice if you want a DIY one!
