The LB Curlew was at the Gibsons Rd field this morning. And it was there this evening at 7.

We checked for it yesterday and Sunday with no luck. But today I found it/another on Chilliwack Central Road just east of Upper Prairie Road. Look in the field south of the road.

I've been checking on my commute (out of the corner of my eye) and not been seeing it. Guess it's staying further east now.

Went looking for the Long Billed Curlew on the way home from appointments, no luck there.
On Banford road there were Lots of Savannah Sparrows, American Pipits and some Least Sandpipers came up to the road.

What does came up to the road mean in this case?

What does came up to the road mean in this case? it is just the point where the water (mud) comes closest to the road, they were farther out in the field and flew in as close as the muddy drainage comes to the road. No they were not up on the road with us, but they were closer to me than I have had in a long while.
