While fishing at Merritt this week we observed a raven feeding two young in her nest that was in a pine tree, right by our room.
I wonder if many others have seen a nesting raven as I was told it is hard to see them as they are a shy bird.
I am not that much of an authority on birds like the forum members on this site so I hope for some feedback.
We shot some video of the nest and one of our fishing partners captured some footage of food being delivered to the nest.
Maybe when Gord hears this he will be driving to Merritt for some still shots. ;D ;D

I know they nest locally, but Ive never seen a nest save for adults packing sticks and food to their secret location.
Kathy has some good shots of them from up north. They seem to be more bold about nesting up there. Check the species account for them on the website.
