On Whatcom just south of Hwy #1 there was flocks of Snow Geese and a few Trumpeter Swans in the farm fields on either side. There was at least 2000 could be twice that amount. I looked for the Cattle Egret earlier and no sign of the bird or any of the Gulls that were in that area the last few days. Farmer was out with a tractor in the field. Wow! by Nick, on Flickr

I was also looking for the Cattle Egret without any luck and also found the Snow Goose flock, which had at least one blue phase mixed in.

I also saw a large flock of Snow Geese (1500+) in the agricultural field northwest of the intersection of Hwy. 1 and Gibson Rd. yesterday afternoon. I’m guessing it’s the same flock. First snow geese I’ve seen in Chilliwack 😃

First snow geese I’ve seen in Chilliwack 😃 Nice! On Saturday Ben and I checked that flock in the falling snow. He estimated about 3800 (counting by hundreds). I didn't try to count There didn't used to be that many earlier in the week, but Friday the number went way up. (Based on a brief look while driving by in the mornings...)
