The pelican (assumed to be the same bird) was seen flying over the Blue Heron Nature Reserve yesterday and this morning. We had hoped that it had continued south!
We enjoyed seeing a couple White-throated Sparrows, a good number (140ish) of Ring-necked Duck and a slate-coloured Dark-eyed Junco. Earlier in the day I had a chance to bird Sumas Prairie and found a late Common Yellowthroat female in a weedy field on Angus Campbell Road.

The Pelican has shown up out from Browne Creek Wetlands today. Not expected sight further up the river like that.
