Late this afternoon there was a Swamp Sparrow along the south fence line at Island 22 at the area regular birders of the site call the 'triangle'. This spot is easily found by following the fenceline west until it narrows for about 100 meters and the swamp is on your left (south). It was calling its sharp metallic "chip" but not offering much in the way of a view which isn't atypical. There were lots of Ruby-crowned Kinglets passing by on migration as well.
