We're having a great month and there's a few days left even though this week looks like a bit of a washout. I never thought I'd have one pelican on a monthly challenge, never mind two species. Crazy!

We had an above average month. Struck out on grouse and the more eastern corvids (Canada Jay, nutcracker) and no Rough-legged Hawk. I just saw my first yesterday!

Jamie's Townsend's Warbler from the Blue Heron Reserve
Northern Pygmy-owl from one of my backroad journeys
Nothern Saw-whet Owl spent a day roosting locally
Tundra Swans late in the month
Golden Eagle also late this month going over
