This afternoon at Thompson Park up the Chilliwack River Valley we found a Solitary Sandpiper in the beaver pond along the south of the park. Otherwise, it was a fairly quiet visit. A male Hooded Merganser looked interesting part way into molting to new feathers. We checked out Cheam Lake as well today. It was not overly active but we saw the two Redhead out on the lake. 021_6049 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr 021_6060 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr
