This morning I went to Sardis Park and spotted the resident not quite white Crow. I noticed that Ebird is now designating them American Crows rather than Northwestern Crows. It was acting quite aggressively to the other crows, I guess it has claimed that area as it's own! Not quite white Crow by Nick, on Flickr I also spotted a young Spotted Sandpiper who was feeding along the low water mark on the north end of the pond. Spotted Sandpiper by Nick, on Flickr Over at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve I spotted a Red-neck Grebe right in front of the blind. One of the rare times I have seen anything of interest from that location. It must have been a pretty good location at one time to build the blind but I seem to miss time it for interesting species.
