The last couple of times I have been to Island 22 it was been fairly quiet but today was different. It was very active with birds, especially the east portion of the equestrian area. A few highlights include one Olive-sided Flycatcher, 7 Pacific-slope Flycatcher, 2 American Redstart, and 13 Wilson's Warblers. There were a few individuals I couldn't ID either due to poor lighting or too high up in the trees.
Overall, I have noticed fewer Bullock's Orioles and Black-headed Grosbeaks. I am seeing a lot more Canada Geese in larger flocks.
