This morning at Harrison were a few GW Teal and Shovelers in the lagoon. While scanning the lake, I heard some shorebirds overhead. There were five Least and one Western Sandpiper. They didn't stay very long. The trees along the north side of the lagoon sure have grown. I had a few Yellow and Wilson's Warblers in them. I had a Green Heron at Cheam Wetlands. I first heard it while flying, weird noise, and it flew towards the east of the walking path of the loop trail. Overall, the wetlands were fairly quiet but I did see something strange. There was a bird circling over the wetlands, at first I thought it was a smaller gull or even a Black Tern. It landed in the water near a small patch of lily pads and I had my bins on and I got a clear look and it was a Rock Pigeon! It quickly took off.
