Matsqui Trail Park Osprey and 3 week old chick

I dropped into Matsqui Trail Park this morning and I could see an adult Osprey standing in the nest with a chick right beside it. I suspect that it was the male Osprey as it usually does not sit in the nest even when it should have been sitting on the eggs. I suspect it is just waiting for the female to come back from breakfast and take over nest duties. It appears someone does not know how to clean up the poop very well as the male has it down it's side; typical Dad!
