The last couple mornings there have been numerous Bullock's Orioles just to the West of McDonald Park by the Sumas River Dyke Trail. They seem to frequent the little island just past the gate on the dyke and fly from there to the adjacent berry field. Also there are lots of other birds there as well Goldfinch, Downy Woodpeckers, Flicker, Eagle, White-crowned Sparrow, Crows, Robin, and Waxwings.
