in 2020 I did a Metro Vancouver Big Year, it was fun but exhausting. This year I wanted to do something a little different so I decided to explore the Fraser Valley instead. A change of scenery has made up for not being able to travel. Discovering new locations is just amazing and meeting local birders has been a great way to spend time outdoors. Anyway, I cobbled together a few pix and observations. Any feedback most welcome. John Gordon (JOGO) thecanadianwarbler.blogspot.com/2021/05/fraser-valley-birding.html

Really enjoyed the blog post, John. Lovely photos as well. There are a lot of great areas to explore in the Eastern Fraser Valley.

What great fun and enjoyed the blog! I always like a bit of movement in swallow pix. Hope you have a great one, and we'll try and find a few rare ones for you. Followed the Welsh couple that broke the World Big Year record, and also followed young Cannings here in BC when he did a big year. Appreciate you taking time to post progress reports now and then.
