I'm selling my Celestron Regal spotting scope. I upgraded to a Vortex scope, and can't use 2 at once Features lacking (in comparison with the Vortex): * Light gathering and clarity - it's not as clear. 40x zoom is about the limit of its usable range. * Focus knob doesn't wrap around the body, so is harder to turn. Asking $600. Sold Photos on Craigslist: abbotsford.craigslist.org/spo/d/chilliwack-west-celestron-regal/7311471587.html

I might be wrong, but I think they might have used some duct tape somewhere in the project. Just saying.

Hmmm. Even if it did work, I don't see much purpose, because even at 10x zoom binoculars can be hard to hold steady. I can't imagine holding a [non-stabilized] 20x pair.
It's an interesting idea, but probably not the most practical.

None of their ideas ever really were. At least not the best ones!
