Since the last update, I added three new species to my year list; Tundra Swan, Red-breasted Merganser, and Red-throated Loon. I am at 201. Winter has hit and while there isn't much snow, the majority of species are gone. It's a good year for finches so far. Pine Grosbeaks, WW Crossbills, and redpolls are numerous. I had my first Hoary Redpoll a few days ago. I am hoping for a Great Gray or Snowy Owl. Rough-legged Hawks were in good numbers in mid-October towards the end. Ruffed Grouse. Boreal Chickadee I have seen quite a few Moose recently. This pair was quite far Hawk Owls are starting to make their appearance. Saw this one about a week ago Another one a few days ago This Sharp-tailed Grouse was cooperative Gyrfalcon's can be seen up here in the winter. I would assume they get grouse or hares for food Deer are very common up here but can be tough for a photo
