Getting a load of compost for the garden yesterday, and heard a Jay alarm call then squirrel. Heard something off by the sloughbank. Spotted a Bobcat going up a cottonwood after a squirrel. The bird saved the rodent... oh well. It hung out in the tree for awhile, listening to squirrel high up in the tree cursing at it. Marion got a highly zoomed photo on her phone. Living on a sloughbank, we have serious rodent issues, and don't use poisons, so I hope the cat eats well all winter.

Awesome, everyone needs a Bobcat hunting rodents around their yard. Super that you managed a photo, Marion!
