This morning at Judson Lake we saw a juvenile Gyrfalcon trying for some ducks before giving up, having a brief aerial altercation with a Northern Harrier and heading south into Washington to sit on a power pole. I think this is the easiest sighting for me. The Bald Eagles have also built a nest beside the road since the last time I was there. They used to nest across the lake from the road.
