I have a catalog of about 600 images on Getty Images and Istock Photos for sale. They sell them and give me a percentage. I always wonder who buys them. Well, I just found one while searching Audubon's site for pictures of Sooty Grouse. I was quite surprised when I was looking at the picture and realized it was mine There is a little binocular icon in upper left-hand corner if you want to see the whole picture. www.audubon.org/field-guide/bird/sooty-grouse

Wonderful photo and congratulations on having it used on the Audubon site. It must be very gratifying to know that they must have looked at so many photographs before choosing yours. Nice to know as well that your photographs are helping to educate others on how to ID the species.
