Around Mid-May I picked up Double-crested Cormorant and Stilt Sandpiper. Typically there's a couple of cormorant sightings up here each year. Stilt Sandpipers are more common during fall migration. I also managed to see a few Arctic Terns.
BW Teal are very common up here
Horned Grebe
I finally managed to see a Black-backed Woodpecker. A lifer for me
Another BW Teal
I saw a Long-billed Curlew late in May which was a new Peace bird. It's a very good year for Cape May and Bay-breasted. On an outing at Beatton Park I managed to tally 13 warbler species.
About a week ago I picked up a new camera setup. Still have a lot to learn but I am really enjoying it
