Hi Gord Love the Humour. I got 6/20 but to show my ignorance, what do these two mean? 11. "Dipped on a Twitch" and 17. "Complained about Stringers".
To dip is to miss. I believe twitching is when you go on a long(er) trip to find a specific bird (usually a rarity). So 11 means that you went out to look for a rarity, but didn't get it. (In my understanding)

Thank you for the meanings of phrases 11 and 17. I was so mistaken. I thought that "Dipped on a Twitch" was to fall into the water while watching birds and loosing your footing. I also thought that "Complained about Stringers" meant that you complained that one of your companions on a birding trip (the stringer) complained saying "Are we really going to look for another bird or what". That actually happened to us on a birding trip.
