Not much point in birding there anymore. Several years ago it was very good for migrating shorebirds and wildlife like beavers, otters and coyotes and the regular local birds. A local Frisbee Golf club assisted in renovating the old dump site and now it has become a very busy location for Frisbee Golf on weekends. With the retriever dog club harassing the waterfowl in the ponds and free roaming dogs that are not cleaned up after much it is challenging for mother nature to shelter much there. Just recently the Township had a mechanical brush cutter go through a section of the park to prepare it for more golf holes. Sadly this was an area that use to house and feed a lot of songs birds but no longer, they could have waited for nesting season to be over at least. Perhaps the Township needs to rename to park.
