Early arrivals for swallows here are usually Tree and Violet-green and then Cliff. Barn swallows starting appearing about a week ago and in the last couple of days Northern Rough-winged have started moving thru... Kev, could that be some downy feathers sticking out on this relaxed bird to confuse and befuddle? I think it's a rough-winged as well. A young female Tree would be the next contender though for sure.
