The Abbotsford Nature Club has done a great job with the nest boxes this year. However, I was dismayed to see someone(s) has bashed 3 of them apart and the nests and eggs are scattered. I will keep my comments to myself before I regret what I say.

That is just so sad to hear. Someone who would do such a thing is obviously mentally damaged and one can only hope they find something else to unleash their sickness on. It was so good of the Abbotsford Nature Club to have put those up and then to have them destroyed again.
An after thought, could it have been a bear perhaps? A bear would not leave any eggs or the remains but they certainly do show up on the Matsqui Flats and have been known to break up bird feeders.

Yes, I know a bear was seen taking down boxes at Burnaby Lake but the local boxes had the screws pulled right out of the posts. I think they have been hit with a club of some sort.
