Good thinking Hank, but this is a female Anna’s which also has a little bit of white on the edges of their broad tail. Could be a juvenile Annas too. They nest super early!

Hi Hank. Both Anna’s and Black-chinned have white on the sides of their tails. This looks like a young Anna’s. A Black-chinned would have a distinctly longer, slightly curved bill and have a more clean, less splotchy appearance. Good work getting pics of this bird. 😁
