Earlier this morning Jamie and I found a flock of 27 Rosy Finch in Columbia Valley on Kosikar Road. They were in and out of the blueberry field. There were 21 Mountain Bluebirds at the corner of Henderson and Columbia Valley Roads. We were wondering at first if we’d break the record from Hope Airport a couple days back but that was the best we could do with all the up and down that they do when feeding.

Great find Gord! I debated going there this morning and went with the Hope Airport, only two male Mountain Bluebirds but must have been 500 to 1000 Robins around the airport and surrounding fields when I arrived, an hour later most of them had left and only about 150 remained. I have seen lots of Robins there in past years but this was almost scary. I guess a trip to Columbia Valley is next.
