Today at the quarry, 10 am 7/28/2020 I saw a totally white swallow flying with the cliff swallows. Is this a albino? Cool sighting! It must be an albino Cliff Swallow. I've only ever once seen an all-white swallow and I suspect it was a Barn Swallow but it was hard to tell as it was flying low over the river with other swallows. Enjoying the updates from this site. Thanks to all for sharing them.

This is to let everybody know that we are very close to losing this Quarry as a nesting site for the Peregrine`s and the Cliff Swallows. The owners of the Quarry have applied for permit to reopen the Quarry and the area that they want mine is right where the Peregrine`s nest this area will be blasted away. Even though their nesting area is protected by law they can still be granted a permit to blast that rock face. If you want to help in stopping this PM and i will forward your info to our group. So far the Hancock Group, OWL in Mission, and The Great Blur Heron Reserve have committed to help.
