Bewick's wren and fox sparrow from my Abbotsford yard today. Two killdeer in a field at the Glenmore Road parking area of Matsqui Trail yesterday; I don't usually see them until a bit later in the spring.
We had a Barrows Goldeneye at Sunshine Valley on the way to Manning yesterday. We have been going to Manning in Feb for quite a few years now. I think this is the first year with no Crossbills, Grosbeaks, and Siskins. I hope it's not a portent of things to come.
