I made a quick stop at Sardis Pond. It's a noisy place when 3,800 or so Cackling Geese are in. As I panned over the water I found an adult Brant. A nice surprise and I think the fourth one we've seen here. Jon and brothers came down for a look and got to see it too. My parents were there yesterday and had four geese species but no Brant.

One GWFG and the Black Brandt was there today along with several thousand Cackling Geese
