Saw the Wandering Tattler that has been seen along the Iona south jetty for the past few days. It was around the same area as recently seen: right around the first shelter. It was in the company of a Spotted Sandpiper. I was there from about 2-4pm, during high tide. Here is the list:
Western Sandpiper (100+) Sanderling (2) Baird's Sandpiper? (see the ID section) (1) Caspian Tern (8) Double-crested Cormorant (15) Surf Scoter (~90) Wandering Tattler (1) Spotted Sandpiper (1) Ring-billed Gull (~20) Glaucous-winged Gull (2) Savannah Sparrow (1) Barn Swallow (7)
Steller's Sea Lion (2) River Otter (1)
