Hi Al Nice one..
I use a programme called Paint Shop Pro by Jasc which seems to be pretty good for cropping/resizing and enhancing (sorting colours out) pics.
What kind of setup do you use camera wise?

Looks perfect to me Al! Try it on the shot of your cranes or even try to crop just a part of the flock and then zoom it to full size to see if you can get more details.
Mac, I use Paint Shop Pro as well and am very pleased with it!

Mac, I bought a Canon Power Shot S3, still learning how to use it, as all can see. I still have challenges with regards to distances, and getting decent shots at those times, however with perseverence as well as friendly tips from memebers, I am slowly coming along--Gord I will post another pic of the cranes, however when I blew ity up, it became way grainy, and not really much more detail--as I felt I was too far away---Al
